WBOC television, a regional station whose reach includes Delaware, Maryland and Virginia highlights the story of Lilly Barnett. Lilly suffered severe injuries in a July, 2011 automobile accident. Her injuries were so severe that she needed to re-learn how to eat, speak and walk. At Nemours/AIDHC she has worked with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists to regain these skills. Her recovery has been demanding, but with help, drive and confidence she continues to improve. She began indoor rowing as a strength building exercise and eventually qualified, competed and won in the World Indoor Rowing Championships.
