A Prayer of Protection Based on Psalm 91


1 住 在 至 高 者 隐 密 处 的，
zhu zai zhi gao zhe yin mi chu de

必 住 在 全 能 者 的 荫 下。
bi zhu zai quan neng zhe de yin xia

2 我 要 论 到 耶 和 华 说：
wo yao lun dao ye he hua shuo

祢 是 我 的 避 难 所，
ni shi wo de bi nan suo

是 我 的 山 寨，
shi wo de shan zhai
You are my stronghold on the mountain

是 我 的 神，
shi wo de shen

是 我 所 倚 靠 的。
shi wo suo yi kao de

3 祢 必 救 我 脱 离 捕 鸟 人
ni bi jiu wo tuo li pu niao ren

的 网 罗 和 毒 害 的 瘟 疫。
de wang luo he du hai de wen yi

4 祢 必 用 自 己 的 翎 毛 遮 蔽 我；
ni bi yong zi ji de yu mao zhe bi wo

我 要 投 靠 在 祢 的 翅 膀 底 下；
wo yao tou kao zai ni de chi pang di xia

祢 的 诚 实 是 大 小 的 盾 牌。
ni de cheng shi shi da xiao de dun pai

5 我 必 不 怕 黑 夜 的 惊 骇，
wo bi bu pa hei ye de jing hai
I shall not fear the panic of the night

或 是 白 日 飞 的 箭，
huo shi bai ri fei de jian
nor the arrows that fly by day

6 也不怕黑夜行的瘟疫，

或是午间灭人的毒病。

7 虽有千人仆倒在我旁边，

万人仆倒在我右边，

这灾却不得临近我。

8 我惟亲眼观看，见恶人遭报。

9 耶和华是我的避难所；我已将至高者当我的居所，

10 祸患必不临到我，灾害也不挨近我的帐棚。

11 因祢要为我吩咐祢的使者，在我行的一切道路上保护我。

12 他们要用手托着我，免得我的脚碰在石头上。

13 我要踹在狮子和虺蛇的身上，践踏少壮狮子和大蛇。

14 神祢说：因为我专心爱祢，祢就要搭救我；因为我知道祢的名，祢要把我安置在高处。

15 我若求告祢，祢就应允我；我在急难中，祢要与我同在；祢要搭救我，使我尊贵。

16 祢要使我足享长寿，将祢的救恩显明给我。

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD,
“You are my refuge and my fortress,
our God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely You will save me from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

4 You will cover me with Your feathers,
and under Your wings I will find refuge;
Your faithfulness will be my shield and rampart.

5 I will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at my side,
ten thousand at my right hand,
but it will not come near me.

8 I will only observe with my eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If I say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
and I make the Most High my dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake me,
no disaster will come near my tent.

11 For You will command Your angels
concerning me to guard me in all my ways;

12 they will lift me up in their hands,
so that I will not strike my foot against a stone.

13 I will tread on the lion and the cobra;
I will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because you love me,” says the LORD,
“I will rescue you;
I will protect you, for you acknowledge my name.

15 You will call on Me, and I will answer you;
I will be with you in trouble,
I will deliver you and honor you.

16 With long life I will satisfy you
and show you My salvation.”
