Description of Surah Ad Duha :


Surah Adh-Dhuha - سورة الضحى

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.

Reading surah ad-dhuha aids in the treatment of sadness and anxiety. It serves as a means of consoling us and alleviating our anxieties. It serves as a reminder to keep one's emphasis on the hereafter.


Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muḥammad], nor has He detested [you].} {And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].} Meaning that the Life of Hereafter is better than the the First ( wordly) life.
