The purpose for us to be in fellowship with God is so that our joy may be full. The nature of this ever-present Christian joy is not based on worldly factors, but solely on our fellowship in God. To be in fellowship with God means to be prayerful and diligently know His word.

Are we in fellowship with God? How do we be in fellowship with Him? Be like Bartimaeus, who sat where Jesus was and cried out, "Lord, have mercy on me!" (Mark 10:46). Seek Him and know Him, and there you will find your joy is full in His fellowship.
