NilesTheGOAT provides suggestions for improving Dreamcon: Dreamcon is a black owned anime and gaming convention, founded by RDCWorld, a group of content creators & filmmakers. Content creators are a huge part of this convention, with events hosted by, and including, Berleezy, ImDontai, RicoTheGiant, Mari, SomeBros, RDCWorld, CoryxKenshin, CalebCity, King Vader, YourRAGE, Plaqueboymax, Jasontheween, FAZE, Kalani Rodgers, Kani Rosi, Soul, Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis, Agent 00, Fanum, ImDavis, ChrisNxtDoor, AMP, Dwayne n Jazz, JazzyGuns, Tony Statovci, KevOnStage, Swoozie, and more. There are also fun events like the House of Highlights Creator League Basketball tournament, the House of Highlights Creator League Dodgeball Tournament (rdc keeps winning in dodgeball lol), Black Jeopardy, Family Fued with Berleezy as Steve Harvey, and more. As such, Dreamcon is essentially a microcosm for the black experience on the internet and social media. I, NilesTheGOAT, have been to Dreamcon in 2023 and 2024. In this video I provide constructive criticism for Dreamcon because it is an amazing convention that I wish to see blossom and flourish as it deserves to. RDCWorld1 puts in hard work to make this convention as great as it can be and they deserve their flowers, however there is always room for improvement. I also address some common misconceptions (creamcon & geeknik lol), provide advice for those looking to attend Dreamcon in the future, and answer an essential question - "Should I go to Dreamcon?"
