Join on my solo journey through the iconic Annapurna Circuit, where I reached Tilicho Lake and crossed the mighty Thorong La Pass in early June. This is the perfect time to trek—with clear skies, fewer crowds, blooming flowers, and affordable guesthouses. With a daily budget of just NPR 1500–2000, it’s both an adventure and a value-packed experience.
If you’re planning to travel solo but are hesitant, don’t be afraid! This trek is more doable and enjoyable than people often say. Solo trekking allows freedom, courage, and time for self-discovery. If you prefer meeting new people, you’ll encounter trekkers from around the world, offering different perspectives. If you’d rather walk alone, no one will disturb you—but always respect nature and never leave trash in this pristine region.
Here’s my itinerary:
1️⃣ Kathmandu-Besisahar-Chame
2️⃣ Chame- Nagwal
3️⃣ Nagwal-Shree Kharka
4️⃣ Shree Kharka-Tilicho Base Camp
5️⃣ Tilicho Base Camp-Tilicho Lake-Upper Shree Kharka
6️⃣ Upper Shree Kharka-Yakkharka-Thorang Phedi
7️⃣ Thorang Phedi-Thorong La Pass-Muktinath
8️⃣ Muktinath-Pokhara
I skipped the Ghorepani to ABC section, but if you have the budget and time, I highly recommend including it for a fuller experience. Your pace and days will depend on your fitness level and how much you can walk.
My tips for a successful trek:
1. Start your trek from Chame to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Manang Valley.
2. If you’re traveling solo, don’t be afraid! This trek is both doable and enjoyable. You’ll meet plenty of fellow trekkers with diverse perspectives, and if you prefer solitude, you can walk undisturbed.
3. Respect nature—leave no trash behind!
4. Carry essentials like a good tripod and power bank for capturing memories. Skip the thermos in June, but stay hydrated.
5. Listen to your body, especially while tackling Thorong La Pass—it’s a true test of respect for nature and personal endurance.
To keep the vlog natural, I haven’t added any audio—let the visuals and landscapes speak for themselves. Solo trekking is an act of courage and self-discovery. Let this inspire your next adventure! 🌄🏔
