In this video, I give you some ways to price your services. I go into detail on three pricing formulas: the first is using an actual pricing formula. How much should a freelancer charge? This first option is best for someone who is new to freelancing or isn’t sure how much to charge. It’s a quick calculation that can be fair for both parties as long as it's based on a realistic salary. The second option is flat rate. If you’re serious about being your own boss, know how much you need to live, and have a solid service that clients can outsource to you, a flat rate might be the best option. The key to this working is first calculating the minimum amount you need to live. Finally, you can charge a charge a retainer. Retainers essentially represent a guaranteed block of time that your client gets for a certain period of time. Which options appeals most to you?
