PAMS Radio Jingles: "WKBO 'Windy' Package" 1230 AM Harrisburg, PA
PAMS of Dallas forged into the seventies with a mix of jingle packages with varying degrees of success. Now faced with competing jingle producers who were moving ahead of the jingle pack, like TM, PAMS nevertheless continued with some very strong contending packages. One group of jingles began as a custom package, a group of jingles not created expressly for wide syndication: "Windy."
"Windy" was a custom set of jingles crated for WLS in '76. PAMS would often take a set of jingles crated for one radio station and then make them available for syndication to other stations. The jingles here are very good and reflect the times in how many have a Disco foundation in the music beds. Featured here are "Windy" cuts for Musicradio WKBO out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
