At Madison College, you can actually adopt pets. The Vet Clinic houses animals from Adams County, Southwood County, Green County and the Watertown Humane Society. The Madison College Vet Tech program houses over 40 cats and dogs that the students care for. Each semester an open house is hosted to allow pet adoptions. The program is set up to match you with the perfect animal, using their pet adoption survey. The clinic encourages students and community members to adopt these wonderful pets before the semester ends, as they will be returned to the humane society's in which they came from. You are invited to visit the vet tech clinic, located on the Truax campus of Madison College, to visit the animals through out the week.
