Venturing into Smart Farming in Ghana by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Osumanu Haruna

Описание: Prof. Dr. Ahmed Osumanu Haruna lectures at UPM where specializes in modern agriculture including organic, biological, conservation, and smart farming which have significantly contributed to the growth and development of agriculture in Malaysia and elsewhere. He served as the coordinator for the Soil Science Laboratory at UPM Bintulu Campus, Sarawak, Malaysia. Also, he was the former Head of Science and Technology Research Unit, Institut Ekosains Borneo, UPM. Currently, Prof. Osumanu is the Head of the Biodiversity Laboratory Borneo, Institut Ekosains Borneo and the coordinator for the Soil, Plant, and Water Analytical Laboratory at UPM Bintulu Campus Sarawak, Malaysia. Moreover, he is affiliated to a number of research institutes as a Research Associate.

Prof. Osumanu is a member of several professional bodies. He continues to render public services and consultancies to many organizations. Prof. Osumanu is an expert reference for People for Peat (PFP), a coalition that comprises the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia (lead), Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre (TRCRC, Malaysia), and The Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH, Indonesia), represents Component 2 (Non-state actors, NSAs) of the EU-funded Sustainable Use of Peatland and Haze Mitigation in ASEAN (EU-SUPA) project.
