This video was a collaboration with Jorg Schlagheck and his wife Barbara. Jorg is one of the local YouTubers who inspired me to start posting my own videos, and it was a lot fun to visit the medicine wheel with him and Barbara.

In this video I present the oldest manmade structure in the Great White North. The Majorville Cairn and Medicine Wheel/Iniskim Umaapi is a geoglyph found in southern Alberta that is estimated to be around 5,000 years old. It has been dubbed "Canada's Stonehenge", and the origins and intended purpose of the formation are a bit of a mystery.

Iniskim Umaapi has long been connected to the local Blackfoot People of Alberta, and they have used the medicine wheel as a ceremonial site for many years.

This was an incredible experience, and I was looking forward to posting a little video highlighting this ancient formation in the middle of the Canadian prairies.
