Good news! The new Antipolo and Marikina stations are now open to the public!

The extension adds 3.8km to the current 13.8km. Making the whole LRT-2 Line's new distance a total of 17.6km (10.9mi) from Recto Station in Manila to Antipolo Station in Masinag, Rizal.

The travel time will be reduced to about 30-40 mins. from the usual 3 hours via bus or jeepneys.

The construction started in February 2017.
