16-month-old Akron girl mauled to death by pit bulls

Описание: A 16-month-old girl has died after being attacked by the family's pit bulls in Akron on Sunday. And this evening, police are still investigating the incident to determine if anyone will face charges.

It doesn't get much worse than this, police today said this was a horrific call they had to respond to and the family was absolutely destroyed after what happened yesterday morning.

The little girl, 16 month old KeVay Louis was dropped off at this Westmoreland street home yesterday morning to stay with her 20-year-old uncle who was babysitting. Around 10:30, a female acquaintance showed up at the front door and the two got into an argument in the front porch area of the home. Neighbors called police about the altercation. Little did they know, what was happening inside the home while this was happening was much worse.

The little girl was left inside with two family pets. It is believed that these pit bulls reacted and turned their aggression to this 16 month old girl.
