The Sierra 3 is the prized possession of Historic Railtown 1897 located in Jamestown, CA. They restored the locomotive earlier in 2025 with just enough time to use it for their Polar Express trains. It was so amazing seeing a big and powerful steam locomotive in operation again. The cool, damp nights make it the perfect conditions for the steam to rise and linger in the air, putting on great video and picture opportunities. Enjoy the steam!
