International Composer Exchange Week

The ICE WEEK 2022, hosted by Tempus Konnex and Kulturreflex e.V., provides rising composers the unique opportunity to make their work known and establish new contacts. All pieces chosen during the international call for scores are performed by the Ensemble Tempus Konnex on the July 2022 at the „Alte Handelsbörse“ (Old Stock Exchange) Leipzig, with some of these work additionally being performed on international stages, such as in New York. The festival provides exceptional applicants with the chance to learn from and converse with prestigious composers such as Annette Schlünz, Ann Cleare and Jason Eckardt. Participants also have to opportunity to meet other young composers and patrons of the arts. The week consists of roundtable discussions, rehearsals, concerts, workshops and individual meetings.
