We start at the Mahr Farm, where I grab the lice and wormer medication from the truck and get ready to treat the herd. I walk through the cows, showing what lice looks like on cattle and pointing out the spots on our young bull, Titan, where he’s been scratching and losing some hair. This is all part of routine maintenance care to keep our herd healthy year‑round.
Once the feed is out, Ben jumps in to help spray while I track which cows have already been treated. Then we load up and head to the Greenbrier Farm to treat the three heifers. I call them down to the trough, but on the way back to close the gate… my boot gets sucked right off in the cold mud. A true farm‑life moment.
After a good laugh and some help from Ben, we get the calves into the tub and finish spraying them. The video wraps up with Eleanor, Meitherweather, and Gracie Mae enjoying their feed — and me talking about why I love these heifers so much.
