Dr. Nilesh M. Mahajan is a distinguished –
#academician (authored around 75 peer-reviewed publications, contributed several book chapters, and edited an Elsevier book – 'Photophysics and Nanophysics in Therapeutics.')
#mentor (guided 83 postgraduate students and 04 Ph.D. scholars to completion),
#researcher (Best Researcher Awardee-2022 by RTMNU and the Dr. P.D. Patil National Awardee for Best Ph.D. Thesis-2024.),
#innovator (03 international and 10 Indian patents) and
#collaborator (collaborations with organizations such as DRDO, Nagpur Veterinary College, Laxminarayana Institute of Technology, Govigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Poultry Research Centre, Govt. Dental College, Ramdeobaba College of Engineering, Raisoni College of Engineering, etc.) with over 24 years of teaching and 17 years of research experience in pharmaceutical sciences.
He is a life member of APTI and an Executive Member of the Controlled Release Society(CRS) – Indian Chapter, he has presented his research globally, including as a nominated speaker at the Controlled Release Society Annual Meeting (Italy, 2024).
