Split Squats are a great running specific plyometric exercise, great for strengthening the hamstrings, glutes and hip flexors. Things to keep in mind, maintain an upright torso (more so that I am in this video) make sure your front knee does not go past your front toes, stop right before the back knee would hit the ground.
