Ok we've got a cord here, it's about 3 feet or about a meter long

To mount your microphone on the clip just put it through here
And put it in the grooves
Then you can put your windscreen over the top
And here you've got your clip with your microphone

Now we're going to test the sound of the SmartLav Plus Microphone compared to the Audio-Technica microphone which I got for $20.00 that I've been using.

Ok now I'm using the Rode SmartLav Plus Microphone for my audio. Do you notice the difference?

The 2 best things I like about Rode SmartLav Plus Microphone is..

1. I can plug it straight into my iPhone
This means I don't have to worry about the batteries going flat.

2. The sound quality is much better than my $20.00 Audio-Technica microphone.

Oh and another great point that I forgot to mention is that it's made in Australia, not China which tends to put out cheap products that are unreliable.

The only thing that I didn't like about the microphone is that the cord is too short. It's about 3 feet or a meter long so you have to be very close to your camera in order to capture the video.

If you want to upgrade the sound quality of your microphone then I highly recommend the Rode SmartLav Microphone. I got this mic for $79.00 from Amazon.
