After a lot of research, I decided to purchase the ProForm Pro 9000. The main reasons I chose this exact treadmill: it is the same manufacturer that makes the more expensive Nordic Track brand; the smart screen is a really large 22” tv; there is a way to unlock the android system (I have no reason to, personally); the deck is cushioned with shocks (I have arthritis, so it will be easier on the joints); and I have owned a ProForm before with no issues. Also, like other smart treadmills, it comes with the option to follow a program. I find I push myself a lot harder and don’t quit when I am following an instructor. You do have the option to choose a manual start without using the iFIT features.
