In this video I completely restore a spoke shave that I got from an estate sale for 25 cents. It was lying at the bottom of a rusty bucket and something told me to buy it and give it a new life. As you can see in the video, the spoke shave was very rough to begin with. I cleaned off the rust using Evapo-Rust and then repainted the plane and sharpened and flattened its sole. I coated each side three times with semi gloss enamel and baked it in between layers for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Fahrenheit to help the enamel harden properly. All in all this was one of my best restorations so far in my opinion.
