Описание: Ep. 40 of Hoops Talk With Dave's Joint chronicles the journey of Delgreco Wilson, a basketball scout and founder of Black Cager Press. A native of Darby Township, Pennsylvania, he played high school basketball at Darby Township High School, where he graduated from in 1984. Wilson played collegiate basketball in at Lincoln University, where he graduated in 1988. He went on to further his education with a master's degree from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D from the University of Maryland. Since 2014, he has been the national scouting director for Black Cager Scouting Services, which specializes in evaluating high school talent and has been a haven for college coaches. He is also the Director of College Basketball Scouting for National College Preps and is a co-host of the Wilson & Woods Sports Talk Show on 610 ESPN Radio Philadelphia. He has also founded the Black Cager Fall Classic, a preseason showcase for high school teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Wilson was also a founder of the Philadelphia Black Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016, which highlighted plenty of black coaches and athletes in the basketball community. In this episode, we spoke about his journey, his collegiate fellowships, the growing interest of highly-touted players in HBCU's and also the differences in basketball in both New York and Philadelphia.
