Roughly 36% of all rabies deaths occur in India each year, and this number is grossly underreported. Rabies is the only disease that has a 100% fatality rate in India. Prevention is everything! Unvaccinated street dogs are the most common culprits of rabies in India, accounting for 99% of the cases. A disease that is 100% preventable by a simple vaccination can save thousands of lives in India and the world.
This World Rabies Day, IHW Council in association with Bharat Serums & Vaccines is proud to present the second dose of the Rabies Summit. A disease that continues to be a huge misfortune, it is time to eradicate this problem.
Join us as we take a step ahead towards rabies control and prevention on 28 September 2021 at 4 PM!
