Some of the highlights of Swansea Museum's Running Day, celebrating 60 years of the operating of their Weymann Fanfare bodied AEC Reliance in the company of my friend Steve Lewis, who'd travelled up from Bridgewater for the event, and the opportunity to drive..
The sequence is opened by Museum Chairman Alan West followed by a selection of vehicles on display both work in progress and finished.
A park and ride service was provided to the site, and several vintage vehicles to a variety of locations around the Swansea area and I went on such a run on 1953 Bristol KSW5G, WNO 484. Fleet number 500. Body: Eastern Coachworks. Seats: 56.which can be seen in Part 2.
