Up Helly Aa 2026 ~ Highlights

Описание: From grand, old, Viking centuries, Up Helly Aa has come!
Here are a selection of my highlights from Lerwick’s main event of the year for 2026, led by Guizer Jarl Lynden Nicolson and his squad.
This video features my clips from the morning parade and visit to the Toll Clock Shopping Centre, squad photos at the Alexandra Wharf, heading into the Town Hall, as well as the Bill at the Market Cross and a few details of the galley Skyldulið.

We then have footage of the torchlit procession at night, filmed from my marshalling station in the bandstand alongside the Lerwick Brass band, before a quick look at my squad waiting to visit the guests of the TA @ the Bowls Hall, and footage of our act from Sound School - thanks to Loretta Smith for the video.
