Ian Sandusky from Lakewood Machine & Tool has been doing a bit of hard milling in the @TRAKMachineTools VMC2!
These are hardened S7 ejector rods for the rotary transfer industry that they previously turned in the lathe and sent for heat treat. They’re machining on these anti-rotation flats on both sides, and then they’ll be heading out the door for cylindrical grinding! #machinist #cnc #metalworking
