Here at the Sacramento History Museum, we are preparing for the new school field trip season! This includes stocking up on some of the handouts we give to schools that participate in our Gold Rush Program, which includes a print shop presentation.
In this video, Howard prepares our Chandler & Price jobbing press for a press run and prints 500 handouts in a light blue ink. This ink is a mix of Opaque White and Reflex Blue rubber base ink. This is the second of three press runs to print on this same piece of paper. The third press run will over print on top of this blue text.
