To summarise:

Mint retrograde has a slightly higher DPS but a worse ammo economy and less super regen if your chosen super is a 1 off super. If the super is roaming then the super regen is faster on mint over riptide but only slightly.

Mint Retrograde can only stun 2 champions at any given time, riptide can stun all 3 champions at any given time.

Overall riptide is the better GM weapon due to its ammo economy and being able to deal with all champions. Riptide puts out 'competitive' damage and you can almost match a B&S mint retro.
