This video will show public and education access producers where to download MPEG Streamclip and how to install it on their computer. MPEG Streamclip is a free program. (Note: In order for MPEG Streamclip to work on your PC, any installation of Quicktime must be removed, and a copy of Quicktime Alternative 1.81 will need to be downloaded and installed. Both of these processes are covered in the tutorial.)
Producers are allowed to use any DVD conversion software they find for as long as the files ripped from DVD conform to the required file specifications. The Edina Playback Facility can only provide support for MPEG Streamclip, however.
