Swisscom Mobile-ID "Number Matching" security feature

Описание: Mobile-ID MFA now supports "Number Matching", an optional security feature that protects against accidental user approvals and "MFA fatigue" attacks.

MFA fatigue attacks are a tactic used by attackers after they obtain a user's password. As the attackers are blocked by the secondary authentication method, they repeatedly send requests for consent for the second authentication factor to the victim until one is used. The Mobile-ID "Number Matching" security feature helps to significantly minimise the risk of MFA fatigue attacks.
