A group of seven women and queer activists occupying a rental property in upmarket Camps Bay in Cape Town is due to appear in court on Friday. Their occupation was aimed at highlighting what they say is an urgent need for safety, land and housing. The group calling itself - hashtag-we-see-you, says it is an artistic protest using occupation to drive home their message. The women say they have received a lot of negative comments on social media, including two death threats.
