OLD TOWN TAICHUNG TAIWAN Miyahara Taichung Second Market J&G Fried Chicken Taichung Train Station

Описание: Old Town Taichung is a tourists’ destination within walking distance to Taichung Train Station and walkable area for food tasting and history discovering.
Miyahara is located at old town area next to Green River waterfront landscape Trail and one of the famous Taichung attractions.
Miyahara since 1927 is a famous ice cream parlor and gift store located in a beautifully restored historic Japanese style building. Guests can enjoy dessert and take pictures at the same time. The food and gift here is a little bit pricy for me.
Later, I walk to Taichung Second Market and have lunch: Black Tea NT$30 & Braised Minced Pork with Rice NT$80 at the 100-year-old Public Traditional Market. Taichung Second Market is known for its local cuisine and affordable price. There are so many tourists at this market. I cannot stop ordering takeout food: Taiwanese style Mochi NT$60 & Combo No1: Fried Radish Rice Cake, Fried Taro Rice Cake, Fried Fish Cake, Fried Rice Sausage & Egg NT$110 to enjoy at hotel since every food looking so delicious.
After lunch, I visit another Taichung attractions in old town area: Fourth Credit Union, a restored historic building.
I also buy my favorite dessert: Egg Pudding NT$35 & Salted Cake NT$35 at a famous bakery and fried chicken: Popcorn Chicken M size NT$95 at J&G fried chicken Taichung Flagship store on my way back to hotel.
There are many interesting stores and restaurants at Taichung old town area. I believe that I will come back and visit them next time.
