Organized in 1994, BLOOD-N-FIRE was inducted into the Christian music scene as more than just another industry item. As other artists within the industry materialized as musical trendsetters and stars, BNF members MAT GAUTHIER (Lead Vox, guitars), BILL RANKIN (bassist), and KEVIN REYNOLDS (Drums, BGV) set up with one purpose in mind… To reach out to and change the hearts and minds of today’s dying generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their unselfish drive and commitment has led them to incredible heights. Their debut album, "MR. INTERCESSION" (1996 Kingdom Records), charted three top 10 singles nationwide and lead them to performances was such artist as BRIDE, GUARDIAN REFLECENT TIDE KEN TAMPLIN THE NEWSBOYS THREE CROSSES and PETRA.

They have made appearances as such festivals and events as FISHNET 96-98 in Virginia, REBORN FESTIVAL 95-98 in Canada, headliner status at TEXAS ROCKFEST 97, FIRST PLANET ON THE ROCK (TBN in Nashville" as well as playing In coffeehouse, churches, prisons, and youth events across the US and Canada. Larry, Andes (president of Fishnet Festival) states "BLOOD-N-FIRE" have appeared several times at Fishnet Festivals, and have always adapted to our setting, our ministry, emphasis, blended with entertainment. They are a special team to work with, and we recommend them particularly for youth geared events."

The guys had been doing shows with BRIDE, KEN TAMPLIN, and REFLECENT TIDE, all part of the roster with RUGGED RECORDS (where the band DISCIPLE released their THIS MIGHT STING and BY GOD releases). This prompted a phonecall to producer Dino Maddalone with Dino M III Studios in Torrence California, for production duty for their first full length release MR. INTERCESSION, which was recorded in 1 week, which is an agonizing pace for such an incredible release. Even though the doors weren't open at the time through Rugged, there was one label director that made investment into the guys upon return. The guys responded to an ad soliciting new artists from a label called KINGDOM RECORDS under the direction of Charles Alan Read. Kingdom released MR. INTERCESSION in 1997

Because they were independent, and didn't have national distribution, a lot of folks never got to experience the ministry of BLOOD-N-FIRE, and it's my honor today to present one of the greatest Jesus Ministry rock bands of our time, and I pray that their music will grab you and touch you as it did me.
