It can be intimidating to take the plunge into hunting public land, but we’re here to make sure you’ve got all the tools to get started. Whether that means learning to pattern deer movement (or hunter movement, for that matter) on public land, finding your access point, or reading deer sign and being mobile, the ball’s in your court! Here are Bill Hogseth and Jeff Pritzl from the Wisconsin DNR and Aaron Warbritton from The Hunting Public to help you get boots on the ground and explore public lands.
