In this video we'll be having a look at the Class 20, otherwise known as 'Chopper'. 228 of these engines were built by English Electric and Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns between 1957 and 1968. They are notable for being one of the first successful BR pilot scheme diesels and only having one cab, when most BR diesels had two cabs.
In this scenario we'll be using Class 20 No. 20108 on a shunting turn at Thornaby Depot. We have to remove some faulty wagons from a cement train before returning the functional wagons back to the main consist.
