During AMDs Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series CPU launch event live stream AMD revealed the specs, benchmarks, price, and release date for the Ryzen 5950X, 5900X, 5800X, and 5600X. In terms of performance the R(-5900X is 26% faster than the R9-3900XT current flagship 12 core processor from AMD. This enormous improvement comes from Zen 3s 19% IPC increase as well as a move to an 8 core CCX and higher clockspeeds. All of these improvements allowed for the 5900X beat not only the 3900XT, but the i9-10900K in gaming as well.
