Cornwall’s Members of Youth Parliament, Cadan, Ellie, and Miranda, take us along on their trip to the House of Commons for the annual UK Youth Parliament sitting! 🏛️
Miranda speaks with young people from across the UK about the issues that matter most to them and their experience debating in Chambers.
The debate topics are part of the UK Youth Parliament Manifesto 2024-2026: ‘Shaping Our Future, Today Not Tomorrow’, created using the voices of young people nationwide.
MYPs debated five key issues and voted on their top campaign priorities for the year ahead - Votes at 16 and period dignity.
Our Cornwall MYPs will be working hard on these issues locally, and we’ll be following their progress!
