Jennifer and Jason Rice of Atascadero, California, are grateful for the care their son, Landon, received at Valley Children’s. He was born with a bilateral cleft lip, a deformity that may cause feeding, speech and hearing problems after birth. With several children’s hospitals to choose from, the Rice family chose Valley Children’s, which has the only cleft and craniofacial team in Central California approved by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
