Parity Shot Integral is a Horizontal Cute 'em up made by CraneHouse; features 3 characters: Parity, Queenty and Xlala. Which all have special abilities, Parity can use homing, Queenty can use various cards to change her shottype with and Xlala has some sort of Excalibur sword which she can swing around. Each of them also have a bomb, not sure what Xlala's bomb did, I think something with fire. Parity's bomb involved some sort of thunderstrike; Queenty's bomb stops time, pretty usable to make sure you can sweep all the enemies of the screen or use it to escape narrow places (can also be used as a way to deal extra damage against bosses.)
Can also be renamed to Panty Shot Integral for t_prin.
I still had to get a hard mode 1cc in this game and thought to myself today "That's kind of too easy to pull off!" my thought wasn't wrong as I got a no miss run right away and one scoring 22.6 million too! Which is a pretty neat score but that's kind of to be expected with Queenty (which seems to be the best at both survival and scoring.) it's just a matter of holding the giant arrow-shooting bug behind you and shooting stages and bosses down.
Normal Mode has lower scoring and hard mode has higher scoring, basically you want to get as much coins as possible; no miss the entire game too. Since that'll get you a bigger clear bonus as well (I think) a bigger multiplier for collected coins and the endstage bonus. a miss will result in a loss of coins so you'd rather not die.
I was still trying to figure where my bomb button was again during stage 1, only one bomb at the boss was for safety iirc.
The run was pretty solid for a first run but I don't even know how I dodged some stuff because the hitbox is kind of strange, notably are the entrance of the stage 1 midboss and I guess the "barely not hit" moments at the TLB... About the TLB, I kind of wonder if it's really a TLB, I think it wouldn't appear if you used a continue so it probably is.
I don't see much of a difference between normal and hard, a bit more dense stuff at the bosses but overal not much of a change, then again Queenty wrecks everything even as a scoring shot. I think scoring is a little higher like seen in this run, since my normal mode 1cc with Queenty got quite a bit less.. That was a 1 miss 1cc iirc.
There seems to be not much of a reason to use Queenty's other cards, iirc the fire and snake one can steal coins from bosses during fights, although it doesn't make a big difference.
Also the TLB looks a lot like Mima.. with rapiers? Possibly Yumeko with her hair dyed green.
Still nice to have one of my goals to be done this fast, next Leiria Stargazer normal Original shottype scoring and SA EX No focus with minor grazing..? Not too sure if I'll get those runs up considering I kind of have a time limit (as well as poor internet to boost the strength of that bad time limit.) But once I'm back in the Netherlands I'll see how much I can get up!
