The Battle of Kufit: The Mahdist War - 1881 - 1899

Описание: Sudan's revolutionary Mahdist armies pose an existential threat to British-Egypt, and the allmighty British Empire is now forced to look to Ethiopia for help. Ethiopia's Emperor obliges to help evacuate remaining Egyptian troops from major strongholds - partially for the purpose of building alliances, and partially to defend her own border. While the Ethiopians are generally successful, a mission to relieve Kassala, on a city on Ethiopia's northern front, is delayed, fails. The fortified position falls to the Mahdist armies, endangering Ethiopia's northern influence, and bringing the Empire into direct conflict with the Mahdists.
