How to upgrade your premium tile adhesive with Tylose®

Cement based tile adhesives are used to adhere ceramic tiles. They have to be easy to trowel and must provide long embedding time, high slip resistance and sufficient adhesive strength.
Premium tile adhesives fulfil all tensile adhesion strength requirements of a C2 tile adhesive according to ISO 13007. They normally provide improved slip resistance (T), extended open time (E) and special deformable characteristics (S1 or S2).
All these properties can be positively influenced by Tylose® MC grades.
For premium tile adhesives we recommend a Tylose® MC dosage of 0.4 to 0.5% to achieve the required properties.
In general construction materials can be optimized with the following properties of Tylose®:
Water retention
Consistency control
Adhesion improvement
Stabilizing of air pores
Improvement of workability
For dry mixed mortars we offer modified and non-modified Tylose® grades of both MHEC and MHPC.
