This talk will review the content and circumstances of the post excavation project design for Crossrail (2008-2016). Key themes like precursors, procurement ,supply chain teams, programme, dissemination content, archiving and innovation shall be highlighted and discussed. The discussion shall focus on lessons learned and the legacy for the HS2 phase 1/2a PEX contract going forward, and how we can leverage knowledge from past projects to produce post excavation project designs that meet the expectations of today’s wide range of stakeholders.
