Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macron is the 25th and current President of France, born on December 21, 1977, in Amiens, France. He studied philosophy at the University of Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense and later graduated from the École nationale d'administration (ENA) in 2004.
Macron began his career as an inspector of finances before joining Rothschild & Cie Banque as an investment banker. In 2012, he was appointed Deputy Secretary-General under President François Hollande and later served as Minister of Economy, Industry, and Digital Affairs from 2014 to 2016.
In April 2016, Macron founded the centrist political movement "En Marche!" and declared his candidacy for the presidency later that year. He won the 2017 election, becoming France's youngest president at age 39, and was re-elected in 2022.
Macron's presidency has focused on economic reform, European integration, and addressing climate change. His leadership has been marked by both domestic challenges and significant international engagement.
