This non tidal section of the River Dart is the most beautiful stretch to take your Stan up paddle board. The wildlife is amazing and if you time it right you will be treated with a great view of the Dartmouth Steam Train passing you, the driver always blows the whistle too!
My reason for going was to see the amazing natural sculptures, created by the dead trees and the reflections, they are simply beautiful and really do need to be seen with the naked eye.
Loads of fish, birds and fauna to see, a great place to paddle.
