Many of us spend our lives fighting the current.

We try to control everything.
We hold tightly to our plans.
We struggle when life takes us somewhere we did not expect.

But sometimes our suffering comes from resisting what was never meant for us.

This nasheed reflects on a simple but powerful idea:

Life is like a river.

It flows from non-existence into existence, and every one of us is carried along its current.
Sometimes the water is calm.
Sometimes the waters are turbulent.

But the river keeps moving.

The message of the nasheed is not about giving up.
It is about learning tawakkul — trusting Allah.

Just as every river eventually reaches the sea, every soul will eventually return to its Creator.

The more we fight the river, the more exhausted we become.
But when we trust the One who guides the river, the heart finally finds peace.

So the reminder of this nasheed is simple:

Surrender.
Be content.
Trust Allah.

العربية

كثيرٌ منا يقضي حياته يقاوم تيار الحياة.

نحاول أن نتحكم في كل شيء،
ونتمسك بخططنا،
ونحزن عندما تأخذنا الحياة إلى طريقٍ لم نكن نتوقعه.

لكن أحيانًا يكون سبب تعبنا هو مقاومة ما لم يُكتب لنا أصلاً.

هذا النشيد يتأمل فكرة بسيطة وعميقة:

الحياة كالنهر الجاري.

تجري من العدم إلى الوجود، والإنسان فيها كالسفينة التي يحملها التيار.
أحيانًا يكون الماء هادئًا،
وأحيانًا يكون مضطربًا.

لكن النهر لا يتوقف عن الجريان.

رسالة النشيد ليست الاستسلام لليأس،
بل تعلّم التوكل على الله.

وكما أن كل نهرٍ ينتهي إلى البحر،
فإن كل إنسان سيعود في النهاية إلى خالقه.

كلما قاومنا النهر تعبنا أكثر،
لكن عندما نثق بمن يجري النهر ويهدي السفن،
تجد القلوب السكينة.

رسالة هذا النشيد بسيطة:

سلّم…
وارضَ…
وتوكّل على الله.
