Описание: सीतापुर के रामपुर मथुरा थाने में आज जो हुआ, उसने पूरे जिले की राजनीति और पुलिस प्रशासन दोनों को कटघरे में खड़ा कर दिया है..दरअसल सीतापुर की सेवता विधानसभा से भाजपा विधायक ज्ञान तिवारी अचानक अपने समर्थकों के साथ रामपुर मथुरा थाने पहुंच गए..लेकिन ये कोई औपचारिक मुलाकात नहीं थी..विधायक जी सीधे थाना परिसर में जमीन पर बैठ गएऔर शुरू हो गया तीन घंटे लंबा धरना! उनका गुस्सा था थाना प्रभारी संजय पांडेय, दीवान रविशंकर यादव और कांस्टेबल विनोद यादव पर..अब सवाल ये कि आख़िर आरोप क्या? तो आरोप थे..भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं के खिलाफ कार्रवाई..आम जनता की अनदेखी और एक नौटंकी कार्यक्रम को जबरन बंद कराए जाने को लेकर मनमानी..धरने के दौरान विधायक ने थाना प्रभारी की कार्यशैली पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए और यहां तक कि उनकी ‘औकात’ को भी चुनौती दे डाली..मामला बढ़ता देख सीओ वेद प्रकाश श्रीवास्तव मौके पर पहुंचे..समझाने की कोशिश हुई लेकिन विधायक अपनी मांगों पर अड़े रहे..साफ शब्दों में कहा कि जब तक कार्रवाई नहीं होगी..विरोध जारी रहेगा..थाने में भारी भीड़ जमा हो गई..माहौल गर्म..समर्थक नारेबाज़ी में मशगूल और पुलिस प्रशासन बैकफुट पर..आख़िरकार एएसपी दुर्गेश कुमार सिंह के आश्वासन के बाद धरना स्थगित हुआ..
