Описание: When you're going through your personal finance journey and tackling your financial goals, the concept of an emergency fund that just sits there, seemingly doing nothing, can be tough to swallow - especially if you've never had one. Making our money "work" for us is the primary goal - whether it be paying down debt, saving for your retirement, or saving for your kids' education.

But an emergency fund can do amazing things for your financial security and confidence as you go through your personal finance journey. No matter what yours looks like, and emergency fund should be a key part of your plan, because you never know when a personal finance emergency will pop up. And the sooner you can get that money in the bank, and the more you can get in there, the better.

I'm talking about what it feels like to have an emergency fund in place because there is nothing like it. And if you're in the middle of your debt payoff journey, even a few dollars a week or month will add up and make a difference when a financial emergency pops up.
