Background:

Sidharth Chhabra (Siddha Hari Das), Director of ISKCON, Michigan wrote the book “The Big Bang and The Sages: Modern Science Catches Up With The Ancient Purāṇas”. This book was released by Bibek Debroy, Chairman of India’s Prime Minister’s Economic Council.
Subsequently, ISKCON members noticing that Jerry Thomas of Sakshi Apologetics Network had argued that modern science is founded on a Christian theological matrix and is incoherent with the Hindu belief systems, invited Sakshi Apologetics Network for a debate. Initially, this was supposed to be a one-on-one debate. However, at the request of ISKCON, this was converted into a panel debate. Thereafter, it was decided to have the debate for 4.5 hours.

Just the day before the debate, the ISKCON team requested the time to be reduced from the earlier agreed 4 rebuttals to one rebuttal only.

On the day of the debate, only one ISKCON member showed up as the other ISKCON panel member was told to be affected by Covid-19.
