Adults would reportedly need to prove their age to disable the restrictions. There is just one massive problem though, that being, building a system that inspects content across cameras, photo galleries, browsers, and encrypted messaging apps would require phones to examine what their owners are doing in the first place. ‼️‼️ Those in the privacy space argue that forcing every device to classify private content and determine who is allowed to access it would create population-wide age checks, and violate privacy.
