Hürrem can't take that Suleiman gets in coitus with other women and can't deal with this this pain anymore. Hürrem asks Suleiman to send the Russian odalisque away from the palace who was sent there as a gift. Otherwise, she will abandon the palace at the risk of death. What will Suleiman do about Hürrem's daring request? Is this the end of the glory of Hürrem in palace?
Hürrem bares her breast against Suleiman with a dagger in her hand. She passes him the dagger and asks him to end the pain he causes by killing her there...
Sümbül takes the Russian odalisque to privy chamber and waits Hürrem to get out of there to be able to present her to the Sultan.
Hürrem's hand is soaked in blood as she gets back to her suit. As Nigar and Gülnihal sees her that way, they get worried that she has done something to the Russian odalisque. Hürrem tells Gülnihal to pack her things.
Mahidevran finds out that Hürrem has told Sultan that she will leave if Russian odalisque doesn't leave. Mahidevran thinks Hürrem is heading for a fall and gets quite pleased about that. However, Sultana doesn't like that Hürrem has asked the Sultan that daring request.
Suleiman gets angry about Hürrem's daring attitude but he knows that Hürrem is determined that she told him either she will leave the palace alive or dead.
While these happening in harem, the great Venice trader Alvise Gritti comes to the palace to appear before Suleiman with the messenger of Venice. Suleiman and İbrahim gets impressed by the this gentleman's knowladge of west who is the son of the King of Venice at the same time.
As İbrahim mentions the visit of Gritti to Hatice, Victoria hides and listens them. Victoria writes a letter to Lajos about the close relationship that Gritti is establishing with Suleiman and İbrahim could be an alliance between Venice and Ottomans.

At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.

The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.

As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.
